Responsibilities:
- Inspect parts and products during incoming inspection, production, and shipping to ensure they meet quality requirements.
- Check parts for visual defects, function, damage, and other quality issues.
- Follow inspection instructions, drawings, and quality standards.
- Complete inspection forms, records, reports, and other required paperwork.
- Report quality problems to the appropriate person.
- Follow all safety rules and report safety concerns.
- Keep the inspection area clean and organized.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to perform the job.
- Able to do basic math and simple calculations.
- Must be able to use a computer, laptop, or tablet for required work.
- Able to stand and move about the plant for the full work shift (8 hours).
- Able to lift 50 pounds and safely move and handle items.
- Able to work independently and follow instructions.
- Must be flexible with work location, hours, and shifts to meet production and shipping needs.
- Must be 18 years or older
Compensation
*This is a Union Position and pays $20.60/HR
Eligible for Overtime pay after working 8 hours a day Monday-Friday and time and a half for all hours worked on Saturdays
