Job Description

Job Summary: 

This role will provide administrative support to all departments at the plant.

Essential Functions

  • Collect and categorize daily labor hours for all RTC and temporary associates, and maintain accurate reporting of labor hours by department, project, customer, and other relevant categories. Additionally, compare reported hours to actual payroll hours.
  • Collaborate with the accounting group to develop and establish labor collection categories that meet the needs of both the plant and accounting.
  • Work with production supervisors to create, distribute, and review labor hours vs budget during programs.
  • Enter labor hour data into the appropriate RTC collection system (e.g., LN, Open Air).
  • Develop and maintain various plant reports, including direct and indirect labor hour utilization, program/project hours, 6S metrics, performance boards, inventory reports, open shop orders reports, fulfillment pick metrics, warehouse utilization, maintenance schedules, and other reports as required.
  • Run reports (LN, Bi-Query, and Open Air) to gather data for various types of plant utilization and productivity analysis, and compare the results against the budget.
  • Assist Plant Supervision in day-to-day activities.
  • Assist HR and EHS Manager with setting up meetings and translating documents.
  • Maintain and publish the daily personnel schedule.
  • Maintain tracking of disciplinary occurrences.
  • Prepare weekly payroll documentation for Managers' approval.
  • Communicate with the payroll department regarding paychecks, UKG, and other payroll-related issues.
  • Develop relationships with temporary personnel agencies that supplement our workforce.
  • Partner with HR on employee promotions and postings.
  • Record and maintain tracking of plant PTO hours.
  • Prepare and distribute various plant and production reports.
  • Assist in the administration of shop orders and sales orders.
  • Attend daily progress meetings when needed.
  • During peak seasons, develop and train office clerks to help alleviate the workload.
  • Other duties as required.
Education

An associate's degree (preferably a bachelor's degree) in accounting, finance, or business is preferred.

An associate's degree (preferably a bachelor's degree) in accounting, finance, or business is preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of office/general business experience, preferably dealing with data reporting/accounting.

Skills:        

  • Must be computer literate, having an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office, with the ability to develop, maintain, and report on very complex spreadsheets. 
  • Experience with LN or equivalent system preferred.
  • Must be a very numbers-oriented individual with excellent math and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work across all levels of the plant organization from hourly/temporary associates to senior management.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is budgeted for $41,444-60,504, with eligibility for overtime if worked over 40 hours and an annual bonus. The actual base salary depends on various factors and could be above or below the range depending on the applicant's qualifications, years of relevant experience, specific skills, level of education, business needs, and market demand. The full salary range for this role reflects this position's competitive labor market value and provides an opportunity to progress as associates grow and develop within the role.  Bonuses are paid based on RTC’s financial results.  Any payouts awarded in the first year of employment are pro-rated based on the start date.  Program rules are subject to change at management’s discretion.
