Job Description

Summary
The Director of Sales will drive the growth and profitability of RTC’s Ready business by guiding high-performing sales teams, executing strategic initiatives, and cultivating strong customer partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and develop Account Managers and Inside Sales teams.
  • Set KPIs, review performance, and coach for continuous improvement.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Create and execute sales plans to grow market share and meet revenue goals.
  • Manage account segmentation, territory planning, and pipeline performance.
  • Monitor financials and adjust tactics to ensure profitability.

Customer Engagement & Growth

  • Build strong relationships with key customers and prospects.
  • Represent RTC in executive meetings and industry events.
  • Identify growth opportunities and lead high-level negotiations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product Management, Marketing, and sales leaders to align strategy and drive growth.
  • Work with HR and leadership on hiring, retention, and succession planning.

Travel

  • Approximately 30–35%.
Education

Bachelor’s degree: MBA preferred.

Experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree: MBA preferred.
  • 8–10+ years of sales leadership in related industries.
  • Proven success managing large accounts and delivering strong growth.
  • Strong financial acumen and CRM/Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • POP/retail merchandising experience preferred.
  • Must be 18 years or older

Compensation 

The base salary range for this position is budgeted at $136,465- $ 221,165, with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary depends on various factors and could be above or below the range, depending on the applicant's qualifications, years of relevant experience, specific skills, level of education, business needs, and market demand. The full salary range for this role reflects this position's competitive labor market value and provides an opportunity to progress as associates grow and develop within the role.  Bonuses are paid based on RTC’s financial results.  Any payouts awarded in the first year of employment are pro-rated based on the start date.  Program rules are subject to change at management’s discretion.
