    COMPANY INFORMATION

    RTC is a company in the business of physical retail.  On a global basis, we create and build in-store environments and experiences for many of the world’s best known brands and retailers.  Our business model emphasizes highly integrated, long term relationships with clients, which currently include Nike, Lego, L’Oreal, Adidas, Walgreens and Walmart.  The value we deliver to our clients typically comprises one or all of the following:

    1. Managing the execution of large scale physical retail programs, often spanning multiple retail channels and global regions, leveraging a global footprint of manufacturing, logistics and program management resources
    2. Translating new retail concepts into scalable retail solutions, by using internal skill at developing, engineering and market testing client-driven concepts
    3. Creating new retail experiences, using our research, strategy and design capabilities to invent new-to-the-world retail concepts

     

    POSITION OVERVIEW

    We are seeking a senior level business development professional to establish new business opportunities with Fortune 100 brands and retailers, with an emphasis on companies in the Beauty and Consumer Tech sectors.  Additionally, this person will grow our business with existing clients.  This individual may be based in either Rolling Meadows, IL (our corporate HQ), West Coast, or New York.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Effectively approach high level client targets in retail operations, procurement, marketing and design
    • Establish client interest and secure meetings
    • Meet with clients to consultatively understand their business priorities and issues
    • Marshal resources within RTC in order to solve client problems and build working relationships and revenues

    PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

    • Develop new business relationships with 2 – 3 new large scale clients each year
    • Deliver value to 3 – 5 existing clients on an ongoing basis, in a way that elevates client scores for innovation and added value while also resulting in incremental business revenues

       

    Experience

    • Strong consultative selling skills
    • Experience and success working with senior level executives
    • A solid understanding of strategy and operations related to physical retail
    • Powerful verbal and written communication skills
    • Financial acumen related to costs, pricing and profitability
    • Prefer candidates with existing contacts or working experience on the client side, in the Beauty or Consumer Tech sector
